SoulFire Ministries is a progressive interfaith church dedicated to empowering and inspiring the communities we serve. Our mission is to promote motivation, harmony, and positive mindset, bringing healing and transformation to the mind, body, soul, and heart. Through a holistic approach, we offer a variety of services and programs designed to holistically heal, uplift and nurture individuals and groups.
Our Temple Services incorporate rituals, ceremonies, and seminars, guiding individuals on a spiritual journey towards self-discovery and personal growth.
Additionally, our shamanic arts program celebrates crafters, dancers, poets, comedy, instrumentalists, vocalists, and healers, providing creative and expressive avenues for healing and self-expression. Our unique message and belief is that ALL of the arts are God-given, shamanic/transformative in nature in that they bring healing to the masses.
For those seeking personal guidance and healing, our experienced ministers offer sacred and intuitive counseling services, monastic medicine and counseling, and indigenous healing science. These sessions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, addressing deep-seated concerns, and facilitating inner healing and transformation. To further support personal growth and well-being, we also offer classes and events conducted by our ministers, doctors, and leaders. These sessions, available in half-day, full-day, or multi-day formats, delve into various areas of self-improvement, facilitating powerful shifts and breakthroughs for participants. We specialize in helping individuals, families, and groups overcome hurdles to wellness, including dis-ease, anxieties, depression, and anger issues, by drawing upon Earth Based Spiritual and other sacred indigenous and ancient wisdom practices.
At SoulFire Ministries, we are committed to creating a safe and nurturing space for all individuals, regardless of their background or beliefs. Through our diverse range of offerings, we aim to foster a sense of community, empowerment, and spiritual growth. Our faith based non-profit organization gives back through donation-based spiritual services, classes and various fundraising projects for trauma, bereavement, emotional and spiritual healing and well being. Most of all, SoulFire Ministries endeavors to bring you educational events, seminary courses, graduate degrees and leadership both online and in person in the East Tennessee area. Our latest charitable project is the "Bereavement and Trauma Resolution Service", inspired recently by the transition of Dr. Beth's father and brother in 2023.

SoulFire Ministries is an interfaith ministry church seeking to cultivate the power of motivation, harmony, mindset, and inspiration to the lives of the communities we serve. We provide a holistic approach to healing the mind, body, soul and heart space through fundraising with our Temple Services (rituals, ceremonies, seminars), and support local and regional ARTS through the scope of shamanic arts such as dance, song, poetry, performance, healing, comedy, music, and creative arts, public fundraising events, personal sacred guidance and healing services, as well as half day, all day, or multiple day classes and events with our ministers, doctors, and leaders that create powerful shifts in the collective - teaching individuals, families, and groups how to break free from blocks to wellness caused by dis-ease, anxieties, depression, and anger issues using Earth Based Spiritual and other Sacred Indigenous and Ancient Wisdom Practices.
Our public events are designed to serve the community and raise money for the ministry to continue this mission - the first of it's kind, in the Knoxville, TN area!

Our mission and vision are centered around redefining and bringing insight into the realm of western shamanism. Shamanism has deep roots in all of humanity and the Arts serve as a vibrant expression of the Great Mystery's work. As humans, we are created in the image of the Creator, the "Great Mage," and every form of Art possesses shamanic qualities. Whether it be indigenous and holistic medicine, storytelling, music, poetry, comedy, performing, sculpting, crafting, or awe-inspiring photography, all these artistic endeavors offer pathways for the healing of the human psyche and soul.
The hand of the Divine works through us, providing a healing balm for people from all walks of life. The Arts minister to all, transcending barriers and transforming grief, anger, depression, anxiety, and fear into joy, inspiration, laughter, relief, enthusiasm, and faith.
At SoulFire Ministries, we bear witness to the Divine power moving through artists and perceive it as a transformative force on multiple levels.
Artists Are Modern Shamans
A shaman is a minister, a healer, a teacher, a doctor, a leader, and careful keeper of what is sacred. All of the Arts have the ability to evoke, provoke, conjure, extract, reform, and restore humanity from the inside out. Regardless of the specific form of art, every artist dreams a new world into being through what they bring into existence, just as a shaman brings healing medicine to their tribe.
The Arts, (shamanic arts), have the capacity to inspire fresh perspectives, problem-solving, and personal, communal, and global shifts towards healing. They elevate us to a higher state of wholeness, wellness, joy, enthusiasm, creativity, and passion.
WE FIRMLY believe that this is an answer for a path forward - the soul fire of the Appalachian Shamanic Artist.

Dr. Beth is drawn to the unconventional as well as the old-fashioned, is wildly humorous, and loves to inspire and illuminate new perspectives from the stage. Her secret super power is singing after suffering damage to her vocal cords during a severe and sudden illness that left her in a coma for 5 days, life support 2 weeks, months of hospitalization, and a harrowing death experience that called her to shamanism. She is a writer, a teacher, a speaker, a singer, an actress, a model, and her passions are focusing on her strengths, reflecting in deep wisdom, shamanism, holistic healing, earth based mindfulness, true authenticity, courage, and beauty in all its forms.
Appalachian SoulFire Shamanic Arts is her latest passion project, and the funding fuel behind SoulFire Ministries, inspired by the death of her dad and brother in 2023, along with a host of other challenges in her life.
